Sometimes when I am too happy, I am scared
June 14, 2009
Wasn’t very happy with my 30-minute wall post.

So I spent 4 hours on a Saturday night doing this…

It looks simple, but you have no idea how much work was put into that thing, transforming it from a 10 000 VND piece of cardboard into a golden frame (yes, the colour is golden)!

The original drawing had a lot more details, but it was terribly tedious sticking to it because the cardboard was hard and my hands started to hurt 1/4 through the process.

Glittery rims~

Completed with photos of the people I very much adore :) It’s not completed though, because the frame is a tad too small. I’ll be making a few smaller ones for specific photos~
Wonderful weekend of dates and movies and shopping and swimming and fun.
Monday comes too soon.

It looks good to me. Yes the frame is golden but the problem with gold paint is that it is often transparent making it appear much darker. Usually i add a touch of yellow to brighten it up

Yeah it looks dark and brownish.. but it wasn’t painted, I used spray-paint so it can’t really be helped :(
Thanks for the advice though! :)

[...] Like a real photo frame, there’s a slot to change photos at the back, unlike the previous wall-post thing… [...]
