End of year concert

We always find it a shock how quickly time had passed us by upon the moment of glancing back. There was the first day of school, and then the Christmas concert (which marked the first time I sang on stage) and now the whole academic year’s over.

Awards were given out for the top student from each badge, and the most improved ones, too.

Unlike last year, this year I feel like I deserve it because I had worked hard enough.

We had to stand there and pose for about 30 seconds while wondering which camera to look at, until the smiles turned stale.

The concert was just awesome, a surprisingly large number of people turned up, filling the entire hall. The items performed were so much better than expected.

The Sorry Sorry crew. I heart them.

They were absolutely.amazing. Even if their dance wasn’t so good (it was excellent by the way), I would have given them an 8 out of 10 overall because they look good enough to eat.

I should wait for a better photo than this one, taken with a phone camera with all of them cramped into the side stage staircase waiting to go up. But I’m just too excited!

A group of cute boys in black and white tuxedos, complete with ties and bowties and ahhhhh!!! Definitely worth swooning over. I swear if they ever become famous, I’ll always be the very first fan.

I told Big Lou (the one in a full suit) he looked like he was going to get married.

Then it was our band’s turn.

We didn’t look as cool as they (sigh boys in tux) did, though I’m pretty sure we did just as well!

I think I’ll never get over the stage fright, but I can’t tell you enough how much more comfortable I was playing the guitar than I was singing. It felt a whole lot more cool, rocker-ish and contented, and I know the front person role just isn’t made for me.

You can’t see it, but mine white’s with little black polka dots and it’s so cute I don’t want to return it ever :(

I’m going to wait for better photos, because somehow all the photographs from my S5is turned out very noisy and crappy. Should have used the 450D.

Time to start making vacation plans!
